Executive Director – Dr Christophe Longuet
Dr. Christophe Longuet a Medical Doctor specialising in tropical diseases and HIV/AIDS, became the Executive Director of CORDS in January 2017. He was the Medical Director of Fondation Mérieux for almost 10 years, where he was responsible for improving the knowledge of health professionals on Infectiology, Vaccinology and Epidemiology and improving the access of vulnerable populations to better health services in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean. During the 2014 Ebola outbreak in West Africa he cared for patients in Guinea and participated in therapeutic research in Sierra Leone with the University of Oxford.
Dr. Christophe Longuet also participated in the introduction of antiretroviral therapy in Africa with Merck Sharp & Dohme and the World Health Organization and the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS. Previously he was a District Medical Officer in Dominica and practiced medicine in Guadeloupe. Dr. Christophe Longuet also holds a Master’s Degree in International Public Health from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium, and a Master’s Degree in Health Economics from Paris Dauphine University.

Programme Management Consultant – Ms Emma Orefuwa MPH
Emma Orefuwa, Programme Manager leads on network support and provides internal communication, data capture, analysis and grant management for all of CORDS networks. Emma has practical experience in Medical Entomology and Public Health and has previously managed a Maternal Newborn and Child Health Programme in East Africa as well as initiatives in Sierra Leone, Ghana and Nigeria. Emma is the Secretary of the Pan African Mosquito Control Association.
Finance Director Consultant – Ms Charlotte Atkinson CPA, CGMA, FCA
Charlotte S. Atkinson, Outsourced Finance Director, BDO USA, is responsible for liquidity management, grant proposal budgets and financial reporting. Charlotte is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, and a Certified Public Accountant in The United States of America. Charlotte has over 15 years of experience in financial accounting, operational and strategic management.
Executive Assistant – Ms Sabrina Salem
Sabrina Salem joined CORDS in 2012 as Executive Assistant. She previously worked for 15 years for various international and national companies in the energy and development sectors and was Executive Assistant to the CEO of French Energy. Sabrina’s responsibilities at CORDS include liasing with the networks and partners, human resources, training and preparation for Board meetings
